They work with major clients in the Brewery, Dairy, Soft Drinks, Spirits and Food sectors; providing them with consultancy services, project management, and turnkey solutions.The Role:They are looking to recruit a full-time Project Engineer who will be responsible for delivering projects from within the company on behalf of their customers, predominantly in the food industry. The position reports to the Head of Department and is ideally based in the Ascot Office although this is not essential. Travel may be required in both the UK & overseas for occasional short visits.The role would suit an apprentice with an amount of high quality time served or a candidate with a Chemical Engineering Degree.This is a dynamic role requiring a similarly motivated individual looking for the next challenge in their career. A degree of autonomy would be provided whilst working within a motivated driven team environment. Relevant training & support will be provided.Main responsibilitiesDevelop and designing information in conjunction with client's briefsAssist with the preparation of tender documents, leading on project scopingCreate and implement project plans work plans and review as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements, ensuring that deliverables are achievableAssisting with the commissioning of the project at the implementation stageEnsure timely communication to all relevant stakeholders e.g Senior Management team, Clients and project teamLiaising with Clients, managing their expectations whilst meeting their needs and attaining the project's goalsIdentify and organise equipment and resources required as part of the costing schedulesEffectively apply the Company's methodology and project standards, engaging in quality assurance proceduresIdentify business development and "add on" sales opportunities as they relate to specific projectsEnsure project documentation is compete, current and stored appropriatelyThe Candidate:Chemical engineering degree or equivalentExperience working in the food and beverage process environmentAble to take responsibilities for projectsAn enquiring mind, willing to learnThe skill to develop flow piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID)Good understanding of the food and beverage industry supply chain process, chemical and process engineering.Experience with project portfolio and risk managementStrong client facing and interaction skills at senior levelGood understanding of key principles of contract managementWritten communication and interpersonal skillsTo be able to facilitate and present to groups of peopleStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsTo be flexible, positive accurate and proactiveSkills to demonstrate commitment to company and client standardsTo promotes a culture of continuous innovation and improvement within an open cultureA driving licenseIf you are interested in this role please click the APPLY button to submit your CV and Cover Letter.If you do not receive the email within 30 minutes please check your junk / spam folders.Candidates with the experience or relevant job titles of; Chemical Project Engineer, Project Engineer, Food Process Engineer, Chemical Engineering Project Manager, Food Processing Project Manager, Engineering Project Lead, Process Engineer will also be considered for this role.
