My client a large global financial services brand is looking for an experienced Social Media Consltant for an initial 10 month period. This role will be inside IR35 and based remotely.Do you live and breathe social? Are you a storytelling, creative, communications professional with an eye for design? Do you also evangelise the importance of a data driven analytic approach to content ? Do you know how to copyright, shoot and design effective content to meet user needs and deliver against industry engagement benchmarks? Finally, are your gifs best in class? we are seeking a content creator professional to bring to life our B2B social media channels.The role, Social Media Consultant B2B, requires you to become familiar with company B2B content aimed at Small Business. You will then configure and curate the content so that it performs dynamically across social channels. This is new role for the company, so problem solving, interpersonal relationship building and personal initiative are as crucial as excellent content creation skills.

In this role, you will:Help define, create and execute a compelling content calendar of social content aimed at both current and potential Small Business customers.Work with business teams, other content authors/curators and agencies to deliver and distribute best in class written, visual and other contentWork as part of a diverse global team including PR, Sales, Marketing and AnalyticsHelp define and execute the creative vision for the Brand in the B2B space Key ResponsibilitiesManage a compelling organic social media content calendar across B2B social platforms. Primarily this includes Twitter and Linked In, though individual projects will also include Facebook and Instagram.Using creative skills (perhaps you are a creator aside from your day to day role - in photography, fashion, film, illustration, stop motion, digital design or some other creative field) to create made for social content (video, stills, gifs, infographics). Your content will have a singular aesthetic while delivering against business and social KPIs to drive appraisal and engagement across social channels.Be a subject matter expert on social platforms, utilising innovations (for example Linked In Stories) to cut through online clutter.Gather, organize, review, filter, create and publish content to provide an effective publishing channel across all business functions and processesMonitor social buzz using third party listening and monitoring platforms, delivering an insights and data driven monthly report benchmarking engagement against industry best practise. You will also base content decisions on data and trends within the industryManage community management in a timely, proactive and dynamic way, on behalf of the business, working under close supervision of the Public Affairs team, in collaboration with marketing teams and servicing.Work with Paid Media agencies to highlight suitable content for paid promotion, and alongside PR, advertising agencies to consult on best in class organic social extensions to campaigns. QualificationsDegree level education preferred (formal art, tech or design qualifications preferred)Minimum of 3+ years professional experience working in content curation rolesAwareness of the financial services and SME sectors - ideally with direct experienceCreative skills - demonstrable professional experience creating social content with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects), as well as Smartphone Apps for specific social editing (layouts, video editing, Stories, VSCO, Snapseed or similar)Excellent PR instincts, representing a global brand on social mediaExcellent copywriting skillsGreat working knowledge of social media platforms in professional business context (eg Twitter Ad Manager).Ability to work on a diverse team under constant deadline pressureExcellent relationship management, verbal and written communication skillsComfortable taking initiative, proactive approach to defining and solving diverse problemsGood interpersonal skills and stakeholder management. You'll be managing an editorial calendar that will require requesting, approving, amending and in some cases denying content publication.
