Project Manager/EngineerBased in Fareham6 Month contract£400pd pay PAYEMy Client is looking for an experienced Project Manager ideally from an Engineering background who will lead and manage cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing engineering, supply chain, operations and quality) to deliver the projects within the established non-recurring cost (NRC), delivery, quality, and other critical success factors.Responsibilities:Maintain all day to day project management activities and progress all outstanding issuesMaintain a technical overview of the projectAppropriately challenge the IPT on findings, requirements and next steps to ensure work proceeds with the correct rigour and directionLiaise with commercial and programme teams as required on project status and continued directionAssist in defining additional scope as required as the project progressesSkills, Knowledge and Abilities List:Ability to break a problem down into its constituent parts, identify root cause and implement corrective and preventive actionsKnowledge of different estimating techniques (including by analogy; parametric and bottom-up) and when these are best appliedAbility to lead and motivate small to medium-sized project teams (up to 25 people)Knowledge of agile project management practices, such as Scrum and ideally how these are best implemented in a safety-critical product development environmentFinancial planning and analysis skillsExcellent written communication, verbal communication and interpersonal skillsStrong prioritisation, conflict management and decision making skillsSkill in supervising to include delegating responsibility, training and evaluating performanceAbility to work independently and prioritise duties with minimal supervision, in order to meet deadlinesIf you feel you would be suitable, please do send in your CV
