They are looking for a Software Project Manager to join the team to play a key role in the continued development of their core product as well as professional services projects for customers. This will be an exciting, varied role offering the opportunity to take a key position in delivering projects in the company, combining elements of both Project and Product Management functions.

You'll be a key member of the operations team to deliver projects across multiple small teams. You will be responsible for ensuring that information is shared effectively within the teams and also involving stakeholders and managing priorities and change. You'll have the opportunity to have a key impact on the success of projects and work with a fantastic team.

This position will be remote at first due to the current situation, however the company is flexible in their home working, so the option to work from home will still be there when the office fully re-opens.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensuring that effective planning is taking place within the team, refinement of stories, and that the team understands requirements;

- Managing incoming requests and priorities into the development team across multiple software products;

- Working with the team to manage capacity and communicating with stakeholders regarding prioritisation and delivery timescales;

- Nurturing strong communication and collaboration in the development team;

- Ensuring that the Backlogs are maintained and ensuring that the delivery team understands the priorities on each project;

- Measuring project progress and communicating this to relevant stakeholders;

- Creating and maintaining project plans.

Skills, Characteristics, and Experience

- You will have fantastic communication skills, being able to clearly and succinctly communicate with the technical and non-technical stakeholders;

- You will be very organised, being able to maintain a stream of multiple tasks and priorities;

- You will be able to analyse, remove or overcome impediments and blockers to delivery;

- You will have a certification or training in project management in an Agile setting;

- You will have experience in delivering projects in an Agile environment;
