I am looking for a Project Manager to carry out a 6 month contract in the South West of the UK.
Entire project execution and contract performance.Correct application of HSSE standards, compliance rules and Quality Management Assurance.Identification and fulfilment of all staff functions, as required for project execution.Assuring the coordination with the line organisation.Ensuring representation from other functions, as required, such as procurement, risk, legal, HR etc.Regular status and progress reporting to the client, Project Steering Committee and to UTG's managing board.Implementation of the PM System (Project Manual, procedures and guidelines).Complying with the project scope, HSSE regulations, budget, quality and time.Project communications.
Academic degree in science or engineering.Significant work experience as project manager (or equivalent role) for at least 10 years, including 5 years on energy asset projects.leadership skills, social skills and assertiveness.Entrepreneurial thinking: decision making even in case of uncertainty and under consideration of optimal cost-benefit ratio.Process orientation: ability to develop and implement strategies in order to gain overall organization by target oriented analysis of complex problems.Demonstrable experience of APM / PMI project management standards, or similar.Core project management skills: structured work, to keep deadlines and budgets in line with project goals.HSE: Experienced CDM practitioner, in the role of Principal Contractor.
