For a client located in St Gallen we are currently looking for experienced Electronics Design Engineer (f/m/d) to join an innovative an international Team.The TaskImplementation of sophisticated electronics designs for signal processing, high-speed interfaces, analog front-end and DC/DC converter circuits (low power < 20W)Creation of schemes and layout (Altium) for complex printed circuit boards (Sitara Processors, FPGA, complex front-end circuits)Measurement and characterization of electronic assemblies and function tests to check the specifications (incl. EMC, safety) Building functional models and prototypes for new technologiesParticipate in the system architecture, developing concepts and performing hardware reviewsClosely cooperate with software, firmware, application experts and external electronic design partnersYour ProfileYou have a relevant university qualification (Bachelor or Master) in computer science, electronic engineering or related fieldsYou are an outside-the-box thinker with an open-minded and motivated personalityExperience with digital / analog design, high-speed interfaces and DC/DC convertersProven professional experience in the field of electronics design and CAD (Altium), simulation tools (Spice)User knowledge of EtherCAT, DS402 and tools (TwinCAT) is a plusExperience with mobile communication technology (Bluetooth, BLE, WiFi, NFC) and high-frequency electronics First programming skills in either Python, Matlab, C++ or C# in the testing processYou enjoy working in an interdisciplinary and international team with innovation being a core priorityFluency in English (written and spoken)Details:Start: December 2020Duration: min. 6 months (Permanent is optional)Location: St. GallenLanguage: English, German is a plusInterested?
