For a client located in St Gallen we are currently looking for experienced Firmware Engineers C++ (f/m/d) to join an innovative an international Team.The TaskIntegrate high precision sensors (speed, temperature, angle) and communication peripherals (Ethernet/EtherCAT, SPI, RS232/422, I2C, USB, Bluetooth) with a focus on performance, latency, stability and accuracyYou are supporting newly designed HW debugging, laboratory testing and system validationEnsuring the software quality using "Clean-Code" principles and automated tests within a CI/CD pipelineThe Design and Implementation of embedded software with C++, on latest generation microcontrollers, processors and ARM & DSP based platformsInteracting with cross-functional development teams on different hardware and software platforms in an international collaborationYou are a key part in the software design, implementation, documentation and testing of Software- and Components for a distributed system until the product launchYour ProfileYou have a relevant university qualification (Bachelor or Master) in computer science, electronic engineering or related fieldsYou are an outside-the-box thinker with an open-minded and motivated personalityA proven professional expertise and advanced development skills in embedded C++ (embedded Linux is a plus) or hard real-time platforms and proven track record of professional C++ programmingKnowledge of ARM & DSP based platform architecture and usage of hardware debuggersKnowledge in algorithms and real-time protocol (EtherCAT, CanOpen) is a strong plusYou enjoy working in an interdisciplinary and international team with innovation being a core priorityFluent in English (written and spoken)Details: Start: December 2020Duration: min. 6 months (Permanent is optional)Location: St. GallenLanguage: English, German is a plusInterested?
