Senior Software Developer London to £140k

Senior Software Developer (Python C++ Data). Are you a Senior Software Developer with Quantitative trading systems technology experience? You could be joining a hugely profitable technology driven eTrading firm in a lead role with leadership responsibilities whilst remaining hands-on with code and earning significant bonuses.

As a Senior Software Developer you'll collaborate with traders and other engineers to optimise the pricing infrastructure, improve trading tools, extend trading strategies and build cutting edge web based user interfaces. You'll work alongside the CTO to set standards and best practice, provide technical leadership and help support and guide a team of 4 to 5 developers ensuring innovation, creativity and high levels of execution are maintained and team objectives are met.

Driven by technology the company is able to offer a remote interview / onboarding process and work from home during the current social distancing measures with a gradual return to the plush, City based offices in due course with some continued flexibility going forward.

Requirements:

You have experience of working in a buy-side environment (i.e. for a market maker, proprietary trading firm or hedge fund)

You have expertise with Python and C++ in a production environment

You have experience of working with large data sets and Python libraries e.g. SciPy, NumPy, PyTorch, Pandas, Pickle, HD5, Feather

You have a thorough understanding of programming fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures and Algorithm Design

You have experience with automated testing frameworks e.g. NUnit, Selenium, mocking frameworks)

You're collaborative and pragmatic with good communication skills, able to provide technical leadership to a first class engineering team
