Trainee Mechanical Field Service Engineer (Overseas Travel)Swindon, Wiltshire (Commutable from: Oxford, Cirencester, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bath, Bristol, Chippenham, Andover etc)Basic of £26,000, OTE of £40K 1st year, 2nd year circa £60k after training. Plus healthcare, 25 days holiday, flexi-time & pension.Are you a Mechanical Engineer (any background) looking for comprehensive training to become a Senior Mechanical Service Engineer over the next 16 months? 1st year earnings of £40k, 2nd year earnings of £60k.Please only apply if you are willing to travel 40% of the time to Europe for up to 2 weeks at a time, with the rest of the time spent in the workshop in Swindon. This international engineering company are expanding are looking for a committed Mechanical Engineer to join their team.This role could suit an ex-forces (REME/Navy) Mechanical Engineer, a mechanic or any individual hands on mechanical engineering background. The Role

*Travel 40% of the time to Europe for up to 2 weeks at a time

*60% of time spent in the workshop in Swindon. Flexible working hours when you are in the workshop.

*Full training given (buddy up system for first year) with structured progression to Senior Engineer The Person

*Hands on Mechanical background, hydraulics experience would be beneficial but not essential

*Excellent customer facing skills (you will representing the company abroad)
