It's the role of our Chief Information Office (CIO) to provide the backbone and infrastructure upon which this bank of the future will reside. Workplace Engineering are leading the technology development and delivery for these strategic transformational initiatives and is responsible for client and collaboration technology development with Security at its core.

Key to the delivery is a new modern Digital Workplace proposition for in excess of 90,000 colleagues.

We're responsible for technical change to the colleague services and strategic direction across:

Azure core Security services

Device, Application & Data Management

Collaboration & Unified Comms (Voice, Video, SharePoint, Email)

Office Engineering (Telemetry, Add On management & governance

Process Automation

Active Directory/Identity & Access Mgt

Application & Desktop Virtualisation

Cloud (SaaS, PaaS, IoT)

As one of our Workplace Engineering Infrastructure Engineers you'd act as the primary CIO point of contact for infrastructure solutions delivery for an aligned Lab, Programme or Project. You'd then be accountable for the development of solutions to time and quality standards against the requirements of the business.

What will you be doing?

Transforming business requirements and specifications into capabilities and explore the infrastructure delivery options, developing design ideas as you go.

Participating in virtual squads specifically to develop capabilities and gain advocacy for your solutions through building effective working relationships.

Discussing solutions with domain authorities, technical subject matter experts and vendors, to agree, develop and deliver solutions.

So, what about your Infrastructure skills?

You'll have experience leading key initiatives using technology across the following areas:

Modern Desktop Management (MDM) / Mobile Application Management (MAM) solutions

Strong hands-on technical experience of Azure and M365 core security and compliance services

Microsoft 365 Application Suite

Scripting Languages E.g., PowerShell/Graph API and delivery as Code

We are also looking for a candidate with high levels of experience across most of these areas (Industry certifications will also be considered):

Automation capabilities (I.e., DFCI, ESP, ARM, Json)

Zero trust models/architectures

Identity Management and Federation

Solid experience with cloud native or hybrid third party security solutions

Experience using automation with Security Services

Awareness of emerging Azure services & Microsoft roadmap

Power Platform (PowerApps, Automate, PowerBI), including implementing connectors to other services (Teams, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365 and Custom connectors)

Microsoft Teams, including experience migrating to Microsoft Teams from Skype For Business/Skype for Business Online, Cloud Voice, App Integrations
