Contract Solutions Architect - Manchester - £500 a day - Outside IR35 - 6 monthsI have a role in Manchester available for an immediate start on a 6 month contract! You will be working on the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) project, responsible for implementing a COTS product to support three key business needs: replace a legacy system, enable improvements and efficiencies in engineering and asset management.You'll be part of a growing architecture team currently migrating and modernising existing complex business critical 3rd party solutions, bringing architectural knowledge and experience to a key business function, whilst continuing our drive to improve our understanding of the data available from a multitude of different systems and supporting new developments. About you:Experience of working with 3rd party vendors and system integratorsExperience of working with SaaS, In-house and legacy systemsExperience with enterprise asset management (EAM) - desirableExperience with multiple cross-platform integrationsArchitectural experience of integrating new 3rd party systems into an existing complex enterpriseStructured and pragmatic approach to solving architectural and technical problemsComfortable working in and driving the evolution within the landscapeGood communicator Key Responsabilities:All design documentation - ensuring alignment with technical and business stakeholdersAssessing the systems architecture and working with the Group Tech and Change team to review and improve itResolving problems as they arise and providing guidance and governance to the internal and external teamsManaging and informing stakeholders about any problems with the current solutions and driving key design decisionsAssessing and communicating the business impact of certain solution choices
