An industry-leading company within the manufacturing sector are looking for a Business Intelligence Developer with strong Power BI experience to join their team in Edinburgh. They are well-established within their trade, with over 100 years' of experience, and have just achieved record-breaking results in recent months, making it a particularly exciting time for them.You will take real ownership of the various business intelligence and information systems across the entire business, with a particular focus on Power BI reporting. You will be the go-to person for any BI and data-related queries, and will be instrumental in driving business process improvements and new initiatives.Please note that this is an office-based position, and you will be working from their Edinburgh office 5 days a week.Responsibilities:

Gather requirements from senior stakeholders in relation to data, reporting and business process improvementsCreate reports and visualisations for various departments (e.g. sales, marketing, finance), using Power BI, providing detailed analysis, insights and recommendationsSupport management with business process improvements, drive best practice and lead on new projects to improve access to and use of data e.g. through integration with SharePoint and ERP web interfacesRequirements:

Strong SQL skillsStrong Power BI development experience, producing dashboards and reports for stakeholdersRequirement gathering & stakeholder management skillsExperience with components of the MS BI stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)ERP/CRM system experience would be beneficialBenefits: Salary of £35-45,000 depending upon experience30 days' annual leaveAnnual salary reviewInterviews are taking place shortly, so please apply ASAP to be considered.
