Urgent requirement for a Digital Physical Design Engineer - December start - initial remote working Our client is an innovative Semiconductor company based in the Netherlands, looking to hire a Digital Physical Design Engineer to ideally start this December. Initially you can work from home, with the view to relocating in 2021. This company is developing neuromorphic microprocessors for AI applications. They have strong expansion plans, with a vision to build a new Backend Design team over the coming months. As the Digital Physical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the RTL-GDS2 flow, including simulation, synthesis, place & route, through to production. You will work closely with front-end ASIC design engineers, as well as the analog-mixed signal design team to interface the digital sub-systems with neuromorphic compute elements, and contribute to the development of patents and IP. The ideal candidate for this role will have:A number of years’ hands-on experience in Digital Physical DesignSolid skills within synthesis, static timing analysis (STA) and place & route (P&R)A good all-round understanding of the digital ASIC design flowExcellent problem-solving skills and a great team-work ethicYou will enjoy working in a dynamic work environment driven by ambitious teams with the freedom to innovate.
