An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Test Automation Engineer to join a rapidly growing and highly innovative e-commerce retailer on a remote basis. They are becoming increasingly well-known within their niche, and have a large emphasis upon striving for sustainability, and have even been recognised in multiple well-known media outlets for their achievements. They have offices in London and Manchester, although you would likely only visit your closes office around once a month.This organisation really are growing at an astounding rate, and are looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join their brand-new IT team. Reporting into the Lead Test Engineer, you will work as part of a close-knit Quality Assurance team, and be responsible for maintaining and expanding the current automation test suite. You will work on their existing UI test suite (Cypress) and API tests (Cypress and Postman), whilst liaising with the wider team to analyse business requirements.They are looking for an individual with a strong technical background, and experience designing automated test scripts including JavaScript skills, who is looking for an opportunity to join a truly innovative organisation.Requirements Writing UI and integration tests using automation tools (e.g. Cypress)API testing using PostmanStrong programming skills, preferably with JavaScriptKnowledge of CI/CD build pipelinesComfortable using SQL and DockerCross-device and cross-browser testingThis is a permanent position paying up to £45,000 depending upon experience.Interviews are happening this week, so please apply ASAP to be considered.
