Involved in the supply of equipment into the medical, defence and broadcasting industries, their customer base has remained mostly unaffected by the current climate.In this role you will work as part of a small team of R+D Engineers to design and architect systems. Specifically, you will design and test software components for their embedded platforms. Due to the nature of this role, you will work closely with the Hardware Team and FPGA Teams. The tech stack/ hardware will consist of, but not limited to: C/C++, Python (scripting), Bash (Scripting), HTML5, JavaScript, U-Boot, ARM processors and Linux.The ideal candidate will be an experienced Embedded Software Engineer. Fluency with C/C++ and Linux is essential, along with hardware-level debugging skills. Some knowledge/understanding of Raw Video is also required. Any experience with Python, Bash, TCP/IP network programming & debugging, U-Boot, ARM Processors, Yocto Project, Qt, HTML5, JavaScript and FPGA would be beneficial but isn't essential.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global leader in their field offering the opportunity to work on projects that will go on to have real-world benefits more thousands of people each year, long-term stability and security, and a varied and interesting day-to-day task.The Role:

*Understanding/knowledge of raw video timing standards
