Role: Security ArchitectLocation: CorshamDuration: Initially until May 2021Security Clearance: DV ClearedRate of Pay: Negotiable We are looking to expand the Project Team to enable the delivery of the next generation of Tactical Communication and Information Systems. BATCIS (Battlefield and Tactical Communications & Information Systems) is responsible for the development, fielding and sustainment of a range of tactical CIS equipment and systems used in the joint Land Environment. The BATCIS portfolio includes communications system itself, the application set the Common Battlefield Applications Toolset (ComBAT), and the Information systems.The Security Architect will report to the TRINITY Lead Engineer. They will initially lead the TRINITY Engineering Team through Architecture and the associated required Assurance. In addition, the role will be required to support in the creation of the initial Security Architecture but the individual should be willing to assist in other engineering activities throughout the project life-cycle. The TRINITY Security Architect creates and designs security for a system or service, maintains security documentation and develops architecture patterns and security approaches to new technologies. Tasks are expected to be undertaken by a single individual. EssentialExperience of design and review of system architectures through the application of patterns and principles.Experience of delivering cross cutting Engineering; Security Architectures.Experience of Enterprise and Service Approach to Security Architecture.Extensive knowledge and experience of EA Sparks and Archimate® certified - visual notation language standard.Extensive knowledge and experience of TOGAF® certified - enterprise architecture standardExtensive knowledge and experience of ITIL - service orientated architecture approach.Highly skilled in Architectural problem management, able to consider all relevant information and apply appropriate rigor to ensure a full solution is designed and achieves the business outcome.Highly skilled written and verbal Communicator, able to understand and apply security concepts to a technical level including communication of security risk implications across technical and non-technical stakeholders.Highly skilled in the security technology with the ability to understand and articulate the impact of associated vulnerabilities on existing and future designs and systems.Professionally qualified (CISMP, CISSP, CISM or CCP) and membership of IISP and/or BCS.DV clearanceTo apply please send your CV's in the first instance.
