Embedded Software Engineers - Linux are urgently sought by this leading microprocessor design company based near Bodensee in Baden Württemberg Germany! Due to planned expansion Embedded Software Engineers - Linux are needed to work as part of a high calibre team developing leading edge mass storage products. The Embedded Software Engineers - Linux will be writing embedded C code at hardware interface for multi-platform applications (Linux, RTOS etc.). The Embedded Software Engineers - Linux will also be responsible for writing Linux drivers and Linux kernel based functions. After graduating with a technical degree you will have worked for a number of years writing embedded software in C for multi-platform applications. You should have knowledge of Linux (Drivers, Kernel), embedded Linux and RTOS coupled with strong C and C++ programming skills. It would be preferable for you to have some exposure to PCIe and any experience with communication protocols (CAN / CANopen, ModBus, Ethernet etc.) would also be beneficial.
