A local partner in Dublin is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to be responsible for analysing their clients' business processes, identifying areas for improvement, designing relevant IT solutions and delivering IT process improvement projects. You will be the point of contact for assigned business functions and will establish expertise in these function's processes and IT tools. You will also ensure that the assigned functions have all the necessary support to deliver company objectives. This position combines technical ICT experience in business software development, delivery and/or support for ERP solutions with strong business process knowledge and project management capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform business process analysis and identify areas for improvementsDeliver business IT projects related to ERP and other enterprise solutions in line with company targets for the assigned business functionsIdentify relevant ICT software systems to enable process automation and improvementsDevelop documentation related to software system solutions based on business requirementsProvide 1st & 2nd level support and training to end usersSupport system UAT testing, software quality assurance and user security processesCoordinate business cross functional teams, including 3rd party development and support contractors, to deliver IT improvement projectsTechnical SkillsCapable of performing effective business analysis and engage positively with business process ownersStrong knowledge of Process Mapping Techniques and requirements gatheringTechnical hands on knowledge in delivery of IT business solutionsStrong understanding of project management techniquesPreferably with experience of ERP modules relevant to the Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain, Planning and ManufacturingExposure to Dynamics AX, 365 Finance & Operations, Navision and/or Business CentralUnderstanding of software development with traditional and agile methodologiesUnderstanding of Industry standard Business intelligence, database & report building technologiesUnderstanding of manufacturing environments and related ICT requirementsTo discuss this excellent opportunity in more detail, please contact me via [email protected] or phone +44 (0)289 744 0464
