Solutions Architect

£65,000 - 6month Fixed Term ContractBirminghamExperis are currently supporting one of our Legal clients based in Birmingham to source talented Solutions Architects to join this forward thinking, diverse and vibrate organisation.The role will be to work with the internal teams and vendor to design the implementation of a new case management system (Sharedo) including a client facing instruction and reporting portal. Responsibilities:Interpreting business requirements, either directly with stakeholders or in collaboration with business analystUnderstanding the as-is architecturePresents options (in plain English) and assist stakeholders select the appropriate one.Define the to-be architecture and transition roadmapsIdentify risks and mitigation actions where appropriateGuide development/implementation teams and resolve issues as they arise during the cycle.Align projects with enterprise roadmaps and shape systems' roadmaps.Conduct research on marketplace innovations and identify opportunities to take advantage of these.Evaluate options for configuration settings and add-in modulesProvide designs for integrations to existing systemsAssist in key policy decisions from technical viewpoint, such as data residencyProvide technical conduit between delivery team and technical areas in IT (e.g. networks)Skills / Abilities:At least 5 years working experience in one or multiple IT areas.Experience of developing cloud-hosted solutions and their associated security requirements.Experience of implementing a legal document management systemA self-motivated professional with personality and enthusiasm for delivering value to the firm.An ability to identify and own technical challenges and lead efforts to overcome these.Knowledge of project delivery cycles and frameworks.Understanding of Quality.
