Test Automation Engineer Cambridge (REMOTE)£40,000 - £45,000 We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer with a strong technical background to join a multi-sector, growing business. The successful candidate will have strong JavaScript skills in creating and designing automated test scripts. The role: - You will be responsible for maintaining the current automation suite as well as expanding it - Creating and designing automation test scripts in agile contexts - Maintaining and enhancing existing UI test suits and API tests - Collaborating with members of the Development, Managements and QA team to analyse testing requirements and correctly prioritise automation tasks. - Liaising with the QA and Product team to understand requirements and translating them into test automation tasks - Helping to drive the QA team forward and ensuring visibility of test coverage of new and existing systems are up to date Skills required: - Experience with API testing using Postman - Experience with cross device and cross browser testing - Strong software testing or development background - Experience of working in Agile like teams using scrum - Strong experience with CI/CD build pipelines - Proficiency with Git- Strong programming skills; ideally with JavaScript - String analytic, problem solving and communication skills - Good experience with SQL and Docker Please send your CV to [email protected] or call Ayan on 0203 868 5192 for more details on the role.
