£50,000 + Holidays + Medical + BenefitsSystems Design Engineer position available at one of the leading maritime defence companies in the world, offering the chance for international travel and the chance to work on highly exclusive projects.Do have experience working as a systems engineer? Have you worked in a government or defence domain?This company is a world leader in maritime defence and have continued to thrive over the COVID period, taking on 50 new employees. Due to their continued success and an increased demand in projects, they are looking to take on a Systems Design engineer to assist with their projects.In this role you will be assisting senior engineers in developing system design, including the design of subsystems and the integration of systems. You will work on the development of system requirement design and be working on the systems throughout the full life cycle of the projects. Due to the nature of the projects you will be working on, the successful candidate must be able to gain UK Security Clearance.The ideal candidate will be a Systems Design Engineer with experience in marine electronics or integrated bridge systems with a background in a defence or government domain, looking for a position where they will play an integral part in delivering highly exclusive projects.The role:

- Assist Senior Systems Engineers

- Develop and implement system designs

- Design of subsystems

- Identify and resolve program support deficiencies

- Customer design reviews

The person:

- Degree qualified in Physics or Engineering (electrical or mechanical)

- Similar experience in a systems engineering position

- Background in a defence or government domain

- Knowledge of marine navigation, sensors and systemsReference Number: RTR 96328
