In Arm's Central Technology group we are building trail-blazing future technology which will keep Arm-based products redefining the state-of-the-art. We are looking for a hardworking Computer Vision Hardware Architect to join us as part of the Applied Computer Vision Team. This team is responsible for use case focused computer vision, computational photography and videography algorithm and technology investigations, aimed to guide architecture definition of the next-gen Arm compute platforms for mobile, home and other market segments. IN THIS HIGHLY-VISIBLE ROLE:

- You will be part of a highly-technical team, giving you the opportunity to develop and make a meaningful contribution into Arm technology - The role will give you also outstanding opportunity to interact with world class specialists from multiple disciplines - The role offers learning state-of-the-art, classical and deep-learning computer vision and image processing techniques, and evaluating their compute, memory bandwidth and power requirements into suitable hardware architecture concepts Essential skills and Knowledge:

- Expertise in the field of CV, ML, AI and image/video processing - Experience in hardware processor design and architecture (GPU, DSP, VPU and CV/ML/AI accelerators) - In depth understanding of state-of-the-art heterogeneous compute SoC architectures for mobile devices - Good understanding of how Deep Neural Networks execute on different processor targets, such as CPU, GPU, DSP and NPU hardware - Good understanding of PPA trade-offs in hardware and system architecture design - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams under ambitious schedules Desirable Skills and knowledge:
