Space for a seasoned Penetration Tester to join a talented and rapidly expanding technical security team in Dublin. Working on assignments within local authority including smart-city readiness amongst other exciting greenfield projects. Required skills & expertise:
4-5+ years project experience Leadership/influence experience with a strong focus on mentorship
Onsite and Offsite Penetration Testing (infrastructure and web apps primarily)
Genuinely driven passion for information security
Strong analytical ability solving technical issues and flexibility in handling multiple issues simultaneously
one of the following technical security certifications: CREST, OSCE, OSCP
You will become a core member of a highly skilled and growing team of Technical Security specialists and your role will consist of leading global pen testing teams and carrying out onsite penetration tests and vulnerability assessments as well as reporting on client systems that include web applications, applications, mobile devices, firewalls, servers and databases.
As a senior member of the team, you will have the opportunity to grow your career in penetration testing and vulnerability assessments, with career progression being a major element of the role. Direct remote teams and perform complex penetration tests in different environments across different client sites You will deliver penetration test results to technical and non-technical colleagues and clients You will have a deep understanding of technical security requirements, and conduct research projects to maintain and grow knowledge within technology
As a local lead penetration tester, you will independently perform technical responsibilities and deliver results coherently You will have an in-depth awareness and understanding of changes/advancements in the penetration testing domain supporting the knowledge sharing environment of the business, and collaborate with colleagues across other relevant teams to enhance penetration testing as a service
Maintaining compliance with regulations and standards in relation to executing penetration tests you will take on responsibility for penetration test projects for some clients, and follow these through to completion including carrying out pen tests, issuing reports and providing solutions on findings. Hands-on external penetration testing experience with experience of infrastructure and application penetration testing Exposure to a variety of security testing tools and exploits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective action Current technical understanding of security threats, trends and solutions Strong demonstrated ability to take vulnerabilities and articulate the actual business risk along with good reporting writing and client presentation skills Familiarity with Open Source Security Testing Methodology Manual (OSSTMM), Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publications, Tigerscheme SST, and CESG Check A consultative manner and customer facing skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels and advise on best practice. An enquiring mind, the tenacity to overcome technical challenges, and an ability to approach problems from different perspectives.
