OTE £40,000 to £45,000

The Role:

As a Fire Service Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive Fire service work and planned maintenance on high-end residential and commercial systems. During your normal week and whilst on-call, you will predominantly focus on Fire systems. Over a period of time we will invest in training to expand your skills in Security (CCTV, Intruder and Access Control) and Audio Visual. Don't worry if you haven't mastered any of these technologies as the company is passionate about developing talent and will provide you with all the support you need.

Travelling predominantly throughout London and Home Counties, you will:

- Work on all systems in-line with British Standards, industry accreditations and SLAs
- Complete remedial work as well as reactive maintenance
- Process jobs via an iPad / iPhone
- Keep accurate records of completed work

About You:

To be considered for the role of Fire Service Engineer, you will need:

- Experience of working as a Fire Service engineer encompassing reactive faults and planned maintenance
- Excellent customer facing skills
- High attention to detail and the willingness to go the extra mile
- A full driving licence
- Excellent planning, prioritisation and problem-solving skills

Ideally, you'll have a strong working knowledge of a variety of manufacturers within Fire and a working knowledge of Texecom would be an advantage. Possession of relevant FIA units covering design and service/maintenance will also be desirable. If you possess any knowledge of CCTV, Intruder, Access Control and Audio-Visual systems that would also be preferred but is not essential. 

You may have previously held the position of Reactive Engineer, Reactive Service Engineer, Reactive Maintenance Engineer, Fire Engineer, Fire Service Engineer, Planned Maintenance Engineer, Fire Maintenance Support Engineer, Repair & Maintenance Engineer, Senior Repair & Maintenance Technician, Multi-Discipline Engineer, or Field Service Engineer.

Equally, they would be keen to hear from candidates who have held the title of Fire Alarm Engineer, Fire Systems Engineer, Access Control Engineer, Intruder Alarm Engineer, or CCTV Technician.
