A new exciting opportunity for a Senior and/or Principal Analog IC Design Engineer has arisen in a leading high tech company working on advanced and innovative battery solutions for a variety of applications. This company are building up a world class ASIC development team and this opportunity will allow you to play a key role as part of a team innovating in an application area and market segment that will see enormous growth over the next 10-15 years. The company pride themselves on building the company around its employees and offers the chance to join a close-knit team of engineers from multiple disciplines. In this role the Analog IC Design Engineer will be responsible for block level, sub-system and chip level design and verification with ownership from concept to production silicon including involvement in product definition, design specification, architectural development, transistor and top level design, Analog and Mixed Signal simulation, layout, review and sign-off. You will have the opportunity to be involved in the product development process supporting device evaluation and ramp to production including ATE test development, test coverage, debug, device qualification and failure analysis. Industry degree qualified, the successful Analog IC Design Engineer will have experience in Analog Mixed Signal IC Design including the design of; ADCs, LDOs, references and clock generation circuits as well as experience delivering successful IC design projects from concept to production working in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Strong skills and knowledge is required in Analog IC Design, Mixed Signal modelling and simulation, layout, block, sub-system and chip level floor planning, ESD and chip level sign-off. Excellent understanding of industry standard EDA tools is required. Experience of developing ICs for Automotive applications and knowledge of Automotive systems is ideal.
