Lead Chemical Engineer

£45,000- £65,000 + Pension + BenefitsAre you an ambitious Chemical Engineer looking to join an exciting new branch of a company, where you will scale up technologies from lab to commercial level, while heading up operations / engineering for the plant? On offer is a position within a growing Scottish company that will see you to lead the growth and development of their innovative technology. With the opportunity to grow to Technical Director of the company, now is a great time to get on board and play a pivotal role in the expansion of a company seeking to disrupt the FMCG packaging industry. You will be initially working with a small team of two-to-three persons, growing to 20 persons within the next two years - a great opportunity to flex your managerial experience while remaining hands-on in process development. This position would suit a Senior Chemical Engineer who is confident managing a small team. The Role

*Taking technology from lab scale to prototype to commercial scale.*Being hands on with plant design, installations and manufacturing

*Overseeing a team of junior engineers and scientists The Person

*Previous experience in a Lead Chemical Engineer role

*Degree in Chemical Engineering

*Experience in scaling up and process design.
