Head of Data Science - up to £130,000 - London/Remote (EU/UK Candidates)

A leading SaaS technology company are currently in search of a Head of Data to join their team as part of a movement to scale the Data Science team. You will be part of a small but highly skilled team, mentoring and leading others on R&D projects that will help drive the platform forward and allow the growth and development of the overall product.The Platform is used by enterprise organisations across the world to help optimise the workforce and gain useful insights through Data Analytics. The technologies behind it all leverage AWS, ML, AI and NLP, and as such... the ideal candidate will have hands-on practical experience working within these technology areas.This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team ahead of an aggressive hiring phase.You will be joining the organisation at a Head of level with genuine ownership over the work you do and a lot of influence on the direction of the projects. The organisation have successful secured funding throughout their existence and have recently nailed down additional funding to allow the growth of the Data Science team.This role is open to fully remote work for those based within the UK and EUWhat you will be doing: Leading a small team of Data ScientistsDevelop NLP and ML algorithmsAssist in Product DevelopmentReport into the CTO and debate what technologies/approaches to employSolve complex business problems

Requirements:

Experience with PythonExperience with AWSExperience with ML, NLPBeneficial (desirable, not essential)Ruby or JavaArtificial IntelligenceREST API's
