My client is looking for a talented back end developer to be an integral part of the engineering team which is wholly responsible for the development of their multiple online stores, associated applications, integration's and software. Looking for expertise in either PHP, GO or Node.js with excellent understanding of Agile methodologies.As a senior engineer you will make a significant contribution to codebases and delivery mechanisms involved in delivering the requirements of the business and, working with Scrum masters, ensure the team lives agile values and principles day to day. Experience and skills required:Must have at least 4 years' experience in software engineering preferably with a considerable number of those in a cloud-based environment.Must be expert in one of the following mobile engineering languages; Golang, Node, or PHPDemonstrable knowledge of Agile practices and the Scrum Framework and its application and delivery.Extensive experience with version control systems and centralised code management.Extensive experience of online security standards, and best practices and take a keen interest in infosec.Demonstrable knowledge of cloud-based environments associated systems (such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure).Must have a demonstrable knowledge of CI/CD and build pipelines for client-side software.Ideally a Degree in a technical related field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering etc)This is a great opportunity to join a fast moving and ambitious company which has gone from strength to strength with an increasing pipeline of business during tough economic times.As well as a competitive salary you will benefit from Flexible working, Fully remote, partly remote Pension scheme, bonus scheme and personal development.Please apply today with your up to date CV for immediate consideration.
