Job Purpose and primary objectives: Data Modelling Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team): Context And Responsibilities Of Role: Working closely with subject matter experts and agile delivery squads to deliver a unified data model for Electrification to support analytical solutions and data driven decisions. Define the Conceptual, Logical and Physical data models, Taxonomy and Ontologies to enable the delivery of Data Assets Work with Business Subject Matter experts to understand the business data and analytical requirements and focus areas. Identify and document the sources of data and identify master, reference and transactional Data sets. Review, update and validate data model with key business representatives and end users Produce the Data Taxonomy and dictionaries and support data tagging activities. Assist with and develop data mapping and pipelining as required to deliver specific data products. Work with use case teams and business data managers to ensure that data is catalogued correctly. Identify data security and privacy requirements for the data products. Work with other data modellers and data architects to ensure the data model / ontology aligns with the One BP unified data model. Work with data architect to define and create required metadata. Maintain data models continuously as modifications and enhancements are made. Ensure that the Electrification data model and architecture follows and aligns to Enterprise Data Model and Architecture Standards. Role Deliverables: Develop the Electrification Data models and taxonomy Develop the Electrification data sources catalogue. Assist the Data Tagging Strategy and data platform migration activities Contribute to development of the one BP data model

Assist the Data Tagging Strategy and data platform migration activities Contribute to development of the one BP data model Experience And Knowledge Required Essential Minimum of 3 years data modelling/architecture Experienced in conceptual and logical modelling or top-down data classification using ontological techniques Expert at information requirements gathering and development of a data architecture to meet these requirements Experience with ER/Studio, ERWIN, Eclipse or another modelling tool Experience with 3NF, dimensional or ontological modelling techniques Self-motivated and can operate with limited direction Strong written and verbal skills Experience with working in an Agile environment Desirable Ideally previous experience working in an Electric Vehicle, Retail or equivalent business domain Experience required: Duration of the Assignment: 6 months
