Linux Systems Administrator / Engineer (Storage Networking). Are you a skilled Linux Systems Administrator, looking for a unique challenge in a technology-focused environment?
Pioneering global technology company is seeking a skilful Linux Systems Administrator to join their established HPC team, where you'll have the opportunity to showcase your ability, develop your skills and work on one of the world's most modern Supercomputers.
As a Linux Systems Administrator you'll support the development of a high performance cluster environment encompassing servers, storage, workstations and networking. You'll remain technically very hands-on, carrying out installations and Data Centre work such as racking, component swaps and network cabling.
You'll work as part of a small, highly collaborative team where you'll support a range of tasks with a focus on optimising automation, including first line support and some deeper investigations.

*Please note: this company is currently operating with a mix of office-based and work from home work. Going forwards, you can enjoy a great deal of flexibility, with the expectation that you will be office-based in Tunbridge Wells for the majority of the time*.
Requirements:
You're a Linux technology enthusiast with a breadth of experience as a Linux Systems Administrator or Engineer
You have strong trouble shooting skills of systems and application issues
You have a good understanding of storage, deployment, automation, configuration and networking (e.g. xCAT, Lustre, Cisco, Ansible)
You're able to script / code with Python
You're familiar with monitoring systems such as Zabbix and Ganglia
You have a good understanding of Data Centre environments
You're degree educated, Computer Science preferred
You're collaborative, with good communication skills and client facing ability
