This employer is a leading financial services provider in their specialist field. Employing 450 staff in their three offices in Stockport, they provide consumer and commercial services in the UK for clients across key financial sectors. Working in an accredited (ISO27001, ISO9001) and regulated (FCA, PCI) environment, they manage over 1 million active accounts at any one time.
They are looking for an applicant with proven experience in manipulating and reporting of large data, who can also perform housekeeping duties on the SQL estate. The successful candidate will work in small team reporting to the SQL DBA Team Leader.
The role is 9-5 Monday to Friday, and is based in the Stockport office.
Required skills
- Technical skills in Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS and SSAS)
- Reporting using Excel Pivot tables
- T-SQL scripting
Desirable skills
- SQL DBA Skills (BackupsRestoresIndex Tuning)
- Ability to investigate performance issues in SQL databases
