Job Introduction Data Analytics is viewed by the Board as a key strategic enabler in the delivery of our strategic priorities. This has created an exciting opportunity to join our Data and Information Team as our new Data and Analytics Strategy Manager.  The key purpose of this role is to ensure that the Society has a clear Data Strategy, for ensuring that our data is appropriately and efficiently captured, stored, distributed, and analysed in a way that pro-actively supports delivery of our strategy priorities. It is also key that this strategy is implemented effectively, efficiently, and to a time frame that aligns to the strategic priorities that it will underpin. The role has key responsibilities for the development and delivery of the Data Strategy, and for maintenance and delivery of the infrastructure that will capture, store, and distribute data across the Society. This will in turn enhance data and analytics capability across the Society, providing insight to support better decision making and enhanced customer journeys, whilst maintaining appropriate levels of data governance and controls.

Define and evolve the Society's D&A Strategy, including the vision and goals for data and analytics. Identify and prioritise D&A strategic initiatives and alignment to corporate objectives Maintain a Data & Analytics Strategy Roadmap Co-ordination of internal comm unications relating to the Data & Analytics Strategy and deliverables Drive D&A Strategy adoption across the enterprise Researching, discovering and prompting the business to consider new data related activities Maintain alignment of enterprise D&A processes with the D&A Strategy Principles Ideal Candidate Our ideal candidate will have experience in defining and delivering strategic change within the data and analytics arena. You will remain close to business strategies to ensure on-going alignment between the data strategy and the strategic business priorities. Communication and relationship building is key to success in this role as you will work with a lot of colleagues across the business at all levels. You will ensure information is cascaded and understood effectively, consulting and coaching stakeholders where necessary to shape and deliver the strategy. As a manger within the department you will contribute to defining and delivery of the overall objectives of the DI Leadership Team, by supporting and providing guidance on departmental matters.  Here at Skipton Building Society we expect all our colleagues to consistently display the Society's values and behaviours.
