Product Owner (API microservices FinTech) *Remote Process* Are you an accomplished Product Owner looking for an opportunity to use your specialist technical and business skills as a catalyst for transformative change?

You could help define a modern digital banking platform at the forefront of innovation and the wider FinTech space.

Through innovative first principles, the company has designed transformational end-to-end-architecture and a ground-breaking cloud native platform that is set to revolutionise modern consumer banking.

In this Product Owner role you will join the fast-growing Core Banking division of the business, and will take ownership of overseeing the end to end delivery of a critical set of features and capabilities of the core platform.

You'll work with your own feature team and dependent team to deliver working software, managing sequencing and dependencies across the organisation. You'll collaborate with key figures business-wide, including Product Managers, Analysts and Principal Engineers to establish a core capability and help to align the the development roadmap with the wider business objectives.

*Please note: this company is able to offer a remote interview / onboarding process during the current social distancing measures. You'll join modern Leeds-based offices in due course, where you can enjoy continued work from home opportunities, including 2 - 3 days a week working from home*

Requirements:

You have strong commercial experience in a Product Owner role

You have banking industry experience, specifically Core Banking (transactional processing, calculation engineers, accounting and reconciliation)

You have experience with APIs and appreciation of high quality API design, management and documentation

You have first-rate stakeholder management skills, comfortable working with working with individuals at any level of business, globally

You can skillfully assimilate complex functional and technical requirements

You're a positive, motivating leader who is keen to proactively lead small teams
