Tax Manager - Group Tax Reporting / IFRS / US GAAP - this is a long term contract opportunity to join a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:Extensive experience in a Group/Tax Reporting role within a multinational company or equivalent experience in public accountingExtensive experience with accounting systems and income tax provision applicationsStrong knowledge in accounting for income taxes principles and experience in external reporting of income taxes, IFRS experience is advantageousGood understanding of IFRS, US GAAP and local statutory principles paired with familiarity in digital, process improvement, and agile methodologiesProfessional certificate issued by a tax and accounting governing body is requiredAbility to sustain high level of work output and meet tight deadlines through close cooperation with teams across locations and time zonesStrong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills with attention to detailLanguages: English, fluent in written and spokenYour tasks:Overseeing the group wide economic value and other non-traditional tax reporting work streams within Group TaxManaging the needs of internal stakeholders at group level, region, and legal entityCooperating with the global tax organization on US GAAP balance sheet tax account consolidation and analysisCollaborating with other members of Group Tax Reporting on ongoing tax related projects as well as delivering support for regional tax teams in these projectsProviding advice on economic value tax impacts of internal and external transactionsBringing new ideas on the improvement and automation of the tax reporting process through the analysis of impacts from multiple internal projectsControlling developments in IFRS and in regulatory reporting from a tax perspectiveRepresenting Group Tax in the finance change management process
