CLOUD/PLATFORM ENGINEER

RATE - NEGOTIABLE

Scope

1.Lead on the technical deliverables and associated requirements (e.g. cost) for production of business case, project documentation, design and other supporting documentation (in requested format).

2.Work with Platforms project teams to clarify requirements, propose solutions, produce high level designs, review low level designs and implementation plans relating to specific instances of the technologies in the skills / experience / qualifications section below.

3.Development of scope, technical plans and cost estimates for associated engineering work as requested by project and programme management.

4.Deliver these costed works including the production of design / change / handover documentation in requested format. This may be directly, with 3rd parties implementing the works themselves or by leading and quality controlling other technical teams to deliver the works.

5.Ensure effective handover of work to live operations, including 'as deployed' updates to design documentation, required knowledge base articles and other artefacts agreed by the project team during handover planning.

Skill Set / Qualifications

Firewalls:

Cisco - Good working knowledge of firewall technologies.

Cisco qualifications are beneficial

Switching and Routing:

Competent knowledge of routing, switching, IPV4, VLAN's in virtual environment

Infrastructure:

AWS / AzureAWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Architect

SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, Hybrid and Elastic CloudGood working knowledge
