Java Developer London to £95k *Remote Interview WFH*

Java Developer / Backend Software Engineer *Remote Interview WFH*. Would you like to work on complex systems that affect peoples' everyday lives? You could be joining a fast growing FinTech that is helping to revolutionise consumer banking through the use of advanced data centric, SaaS cloud based banking technology. You'll be working on complex and interesting systems and progressing your career whilst enjoying perks such as flexible working.

As a Java Developer you will design and develop customer focused on-boarding and client reporting systems. You'll be focussed on coding multi-threaded core Java systems with a focus on concurrency and asynchronous programming within a modern development environment encompassing CI/CD, microservices and AWS. As a senior member of the team you'll also evangelise best practice and set an example to more junior members of the team, help solve problems and have input into technical discussions and decision making.

Driven by technology the company can offer a remote interview / process and 100% work from home during the current social distancing measures with 2-3 days a week WFH thereafter. Requirements:

You have indepth core Java development experience including multi-threading

You have a good knowledge of microservices and have SpringBoot experience

You have a good working knowledge of at least some of the following: Kafka, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, RESTful API, Kotlin

You have a strong Computer Science background including fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures and Algorithms

You believe in well tested code and have a TDD mindset

You're collaborative, keen to work on complex systems and contribute to the full software development lifecycle

Ideally you will have previous experience of working in a financial services environment
