Project Manager for Claims Management System replacement

My Public Sector Client are replacing the legacy Claims Management systems with a single out-sourced product, supplied by Equiniti-Top Level.

This role is required for short term cover until a permanent appointment can be made, anticipated to be around 16 weeks from the start of this engagement.

Services Required:

*Oversee feasibility, design, and assessment work for proposed projects, to inform and contribute to the development of robust business cases and investment proposals that clarify business benefits, quantify resource requirements and identify project interdependencies

*Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with claims managers, teams and other key internal and external stakeholders, to ensure full mutual understanding of the projects' strategic and delivery objectives, to report on and review project performance, and to agree solutions that resolve complex issues.

*Ensure stakeholder and delivery roles and responsibilities are clarified, creating high quality baseline management products, producing timely and accurate reports, and creating and maintaining specified records.

*Identify and evaluate emerging risks, issues, dependencies and constraints associated with the project(s), escalating where appropriate. Where necessary develop, agree and implement solutions to overcome these.

*Develop, implement and manage weekly and monthly performance reporting packs to provide visibility and ensure the FBS leadership team have the management information required to enable informed and timely decision making.

*Experience managing business transformational IT and Finance projects within a large complex organisation.

*Experience of embedding new ways of working.

*A strong track record of delivering outcomes and achievements in a structured IT and business programme/project environment.

*Being comfortable working with ambiguity in a complex change environment.

*Leadership management experience.

*Experience in driving change forward to effective implementation dealing constructively with setbacks

*Ability to assimilate and convey complex and challenging information to a variety of audiences.

*Project management skills (a relevant qualification would be desirable) and a proven track record in delivering successful outcomes.

*IT Systems requirements capture and implementation experience

*Ability to engage effectively with staff at all levels.

*Leadership skills.

*Strong influencing and negotiation skills.

*Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with other colleagues in a clear and a timely manner.

*Ability to work collaboratively, with a range of colleagues, subject matter experts and business partners both in the wider organisation and externally across multiple stakeholders and delivery partners
