Senior Software Developer - RemoteUp to £48k DOEMy client are seeking a passionate software developer interested in contributing to development of data-driven ICT solutions. The Senior Software Developer will be expected to work in both front and back-end of various applications. They will be able to get their hands dirty with day-to-day delivery but also be part of the core team going forward. Like our current team, the Senior Software Developer should be determined to make a positive impact to the Sustainable Development Goals!As a Senior Software Developer, you will have a key delivery role in our technical team and work with the senior technical team to translate requirements coming in from the client facing team.Required experience:

- Experience in Python, esp. in web frameworks such as Flask, or Django.- Experience in React.JS (preferably), or similar frontend frameworks. - Experience in GIT (preferably), or similar source control tool.- Experience in agile methodologies and working in scrum teams. - Passionate and curious about learning new software skills and motivated for self-development.- Desire to work towards the Sustainable Development Goals. Desirable experience:- Postgresql, PostGIS, or noSQL.- AWS, Docker and Containerisation eco-system.- Experience in implementing machine learning. - Prior experience with agriculture and/or energy systems modelling.
