£40'000 (OTE £60'000) + Company Car + Progression + Training + Holidays

Excellent opportunity for an engineer with sales experience to join a leading renewable energy company that will offer you a varied and autonomous role were you can earn over £60'000 with commission/ bonuses.

Based in Cheltenham, this company are leading the way in the solar industry specialising in the supply, design and installation of Solar PV to commercial, industrial and agricultural properties. They are leading the way in the solar industry having experienced great success in recent times and have exciting plans for future growth.

In this role you will understand the needs of customers, attend their site, generate a suitable design and proposal and close the sale. You will also project manage the process by co ordinating with the technical support team, installation team and scaffolding team.

The ideal candidate will have sales experience within the solar industry or have experience selling systems into the construction or building management industry (HVAC, lighting etc.).

This is a great opportunity for a technical sales engineer to join an award winning solar company in an autonomous role where you can play a key part in their growth and development

The role:

*Office based 1-2 days, on the road 3-4 days

*Pre-qualified leads (some self-generated)

*Consult and design suitable solar solutions for commercial and agricultural properties

*Attend customer sites to estimate and survey property

*Gaining client committment and closing sales

*Project management - coordinate with technical support team, installation team and scaffolders

The Person:

*Previous sales experience and track record of closing deals

*Experience of building and maintaining relationships with clients

*Experience in the Solar industry (desirable)

*Full UK Driving license
