THE ROLEPython Developer THE OPPORTUNITYI am currently working with an Edinburgh based company who are looking for a Python Developer to join an established development team. This position will be working on a new platform - which is a key focus for the business for their growth and expansion. Any successful candidates will also have the opportunity to work directly with their end clients to drive technology decisions. THE ORGANISATIONThis great organisation is a big player in the energy sector. Starting over 15 years ago, this highly successful organisation have established themselves as a leader in the energy sector. This company has gone through a recent change which is driving growth across a number of departments. This company supported the UK's movement towards renewable energy, with continued advances and a focus in this area. TECH STACKPrimarily working with Python and Docker, as well as DevOps experience.Technologies used: Python, Docker, SQL (Postgres, MS-SQL), Django, Flask, GitLab and experience with DevOps practices. THE CANDIDATEThis role will allow the successful candidate to join an established Development team, contributing to the development of a business critical platform. If you have experience working with Python and Docker, it would also be advantageous to have experience with Machine Learning and/or DevOps practices. This role will require someone who has experience with business processes, working closely with clients to establish needs and explore the requirements.
