Backend Developer Python Django

Client is a global insurance & investment firm are looking for Backend developers to join its AI-first Science team

We are looking to hire Fullstack or Backend Developers to join the team and contribute to the development of disruptive apps / products.

This is an exciting opportunity for those who want to enjoy state-of-the-art game-changing products and be challenged and grow in the field of "AI-first" software / product development;

* Strong Python coding skills plus experience of a typed language (e.g. C++, Java, etc)

* Curiosity of latest Machine learning applications

* Building from ground up, not tweaking legacy - so creative mindset

* In depth knowledge of backend infrastructure (e.g., Flask, Falcon, Redis, Varnish)

* Exposure to modern JavaScript technologies (e.g. ES6, React.js, Redux etc)

* Familiarity with build automation and continuous integration (e.g., Gulp, Grunt, Jenkins, CodePipeline)

* Cloud platforms (e.g. Amazon Web Services)

* Linux SysAdmin skills

* Messaging (e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ)

* Distributed Systems tools (e.g. Etcd, zookeeper, consul)

* Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Terraform, Cloudformation etc)

* Portfolio of past experience (e.g. blogs, talks, contributions to Open Source)
