My client who is based in London and Bristol is looking for a people change manager for an initial 8 month contract. Due to the current situation this role will predominantly be remote.

The role is a fixed term opportunity to support the delivery of the People Change agenda required as part of Procurement Transformation. The programme incorporates the global organisational design and implementation, recruitment strategies and onboarding, ensuring T&Cs and benefits are in place and aligned to People framework, ensuring our people are in the right location to deliver as per broader BT programmes, that the HR & technology systems are aligned to deliver to a global function and that colleagues are taken on the journey through an engaging communication and engagement programme.

The role on a day to day basis will report to the HR Director, Finance & Business Services and partner with the workstream leads across the People Workstream programme. Thus ensuring a detailed project plan is in place and monitored, the risk & mitigation log is accurate and up-to-date and each of the workstreams are progressing towards the agreed timelines. You will also play a critical role in updating the broader transformation project team and partnering with other workstreams on co-dependencies and project timelines.

To be successful in this role, you'll have co-ordinated large-scale global people change and organisation design programmes in corporate fast-paced environments, in a change lead or business partner capacity. Experience of collective and individual consultations is advantageous, as is location strategy & implementation programme experience. You will be proficient at multi-tasking, re-prioritising, project managing and with an eye for detail. You'll have exceptional communication skills and be adapt at building relationships and influencing across a varied stakeholder group.

Thriving as a team player, you'll be a collaborator who's able to quickly turn an idea into an action and have a flexible and adaptable approach to a fast-moving programme. Lastly, you'll be able to influence the communications approach to ensure it effective supports the colleagues change journey through the programme lifecycle.

Design and OD Implementation

*Partner with the design teams to understand the transition and end state OD designs, timings and people impact

*Partner with the Consultation workstream lead on the global implementation approach and implementation plan and build this into the broader project plan

Recruitment

*Understand and oversee the recruitment strategy for the programme, ensuring the team are properly resourced and relevant business leaders are actively involved

*Monitor progress against the recruitment strategy, including vacancy tracking and costs

*Build and own the BT Procurement approach to inductions and onboarding, in partnership with the business

*Manage the approval process for new roles

Partnerships

*Partner with other workstreams within the People Workstream, including Change, Legal, ER, Reward and Mobility to ensure a seamless transition into end state, both from an OD design & location footprint perspective and a transition plan

Working Groups

*Coordinate the regular People Workstream meetings and preparing and delivering regular updates to the Programme committee and SteerCo

*Manage the risk & mitigation log, ensuring up to date and raising concerns through the workstream and project board

Communications & Engagement

*Close partnership with Comms & Engagement leads to ensure regular updates on progress and critical upcoming activities

*Regular updates to corporate units change team on project milestones and updates

*Partner with comms lead on the development of announcement / people update materials

Skills Required
