The HQ Digital and Commercial Services team work towards driving digitalisation and ensuring the technological modernisation of the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS). They also manage large scale change programmes, whilst keeping working relationships with key suppliers.

Are you looking to take the next step in your digital career? Being a Solutions Developer with the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) HQ Digital and Commercial Services team gives you the opportunity to provide technical solutions to complex internal business problems.

You will design and create accessible Applications and services as part of small agile development teams using your knowledge and skills in the latest web technologies and low code platforms like Out systems and Microsoft Power Platform.

You will have opportunities to develop your career further including using your Individual Learning Account (ILA) to attend training courses and get the chance shadow colleagues to gain different perspectives.

It is essential that the post holder has the following experience:

Experience with development languages i.e. Javascript, SQL, CSS, HTML (Application and Interview)

Please note that the post holder will be required to travel to Wakefield regularly for team events once restrictions are lifted.

The post holder will design & create accessible digital applications & services that assist in the advancement of CPS Digital capability.

Working in small agile development teams you work collaboratively alongside other developers, analysts & user researchers to interpret business & user requirements.

You will design and prototype solutions, to enable visualization of proposed end to end business processes.

You will develop innovative technical solutions to business problems using both low code platforms as well as full stack development skills.

Enthusiastic & proactive in developing your knowledge of new technologies you will use these to contribute to the discussion of new development ideas.

You will act as a champion for Digital Technology Services, and pro-actively support the wider team priorities and objectives.
