Java Developer - Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, OracleMy client based in Bristol are looking to take on a Java Developer to join their team on a permanent basis paying £40,000 - £60,000pa DOE +Bonus.

While many candidates will be concerned about making a move during these uncertain times, this is a company you can be confident in as demand for some of their products has increased fivefold in the last year and during lockdown they have already taken on a number of new hires.

You will be treated like an adult with the freedom to work from home at least 50% of the time and you will be rewarded with a competitive salary DOE, annual company performance bonus and pension. They are looking to take someone on ASAP, will facilitate a fully remote process and are happy with 100% remote onboarding.

When you are onsite, you will be working in modern offices with free on-site parking and a cafe which the company pay for tea and (REALLY good) coffee in. You will be working with the most up to date technologies to build exciting software used globally by thousands of customers and you'll be using cutting edge hardware including massive curved monitors. We've placed several people there over the last few years: all of them are still there and all speak really highly of the company and the team environment and culture.

Essential Skillset / Experience

- 3+ years' commercial Java experience

- Strong Spring / Spring Boot

- Agile / Scrum experience

Desirable Skillset / Experience

- Microservices Architecture

- Cloud technologies: AWS / GCP (Google Cloud) / Azure / Paas / SaaS / IaaS

- DevOps / CI / CD technologies: Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes

- Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch

- ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka

- Modern front-end JavaScript frameworks: React / Angular / Vue but this will be a very predominantly back-end role

- Any other back-end capability: C# / Node.JS / Python would be beneficial
