1st Line Support EngineerWarrington£18,000 - £25,000 dependant on experienceMy client is an award winning Telecoms/ISP provider based in Warrington who are looking to hire multiple 1st line Support Engineers to join their growing team.The main responsibility for the UC Engineer is to provide excellent technical support for a host of VoIP and fixed connectivity products and services to a varied customer base.The ideal candidate must have at least 12 months experience in a UC Support/helpdesk environment and ideally have a degree in IT based subject.Role Responsibilities/Experience: Remotely identify customer system issues and perform 1st support within the agreed SLA or escalationResolve full range of technical issues including connectivity issues (LAN/WAN/Wireless)Have a strong knowledge of Windows and LinuxExperience in Unified comms and VOIP/PBX technologiesConfigure and troubleshoot network protocols and equipment (Routers, switches, firewalls etc)Have previous experience of any of the following products: Cisco, Polycom, Linux, Yealink, Draytek or JuniperThis role best suits an individual who is tenacious, interested in learning new technologies and joining a collaborative team who like to share best practice in order to better the services they provide.
