An award winning, professional web design company is seeking a PHP/Laravel Developer to work in their new offices in Burnley. This person will be a key member of the team to who can contribute to and influence changes to the company workflows and development practices. The company is ambitious and growing, looking for someone who is enthusiastic about development and wants to shape their career. Your main responsibilities will be;Developing and maintaining new and existing web based client projects, including websites and bespoke web applications.Build efficient, testable, and reusable code.Communicate effectively with clients and be able to articulate understandable responses to non-technical members of the business.Contribute to the delivery of projects within your team.You will be involved in the full agile software development lifecycle going from planning through to implementation. You will need to have experience working in a similar role as a PHP Developer and be able to show a portfolio with working examples of your code. You will need to be able to write clean, well-designed, scalable object-oriented code and work to sprints agreed with the production team. Knowledge of some of the following technologies is required: MySql, Sql, Sqlite, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, AJAX, Git, Github, Bitbucket.
