Application Duty Technician (Agile / DevOps)Location: Remote Initially / HursleyDuration: 6 Months Rate: £400 - £440 per dayThe successful candidate will have active SC Clearance or be SC Cleared eligible. Role description:Our Client is a is a multinational computer technology and IT consulting corporation and they are looking for 2 Application Duty Technician's to work on an SSD project to be responsible for the following:Monitor the service, triage and resolve issues as they occur (across the application, infrastructure, hosting platform and network)Undertake deployments to the production environmentDeliver new enhancements for the service (across technical, operational and process capabilities)Support cloud-based tooling for the Pre-Production and Production environmentsThis role will require shift hours for an 8-hour period between 0700 > 2100 on Monday - FridayEssential skills and experience:Attention to detail and ability to follow defined processesDrive and commitment to learn new technical concepts quicklyFamiliarity with Agile & DevOps ways of workingFamiliarity with and experience of using UNIXKnowledge of CI toolsetsGood client facing skills and problem-solving aptitudeDevOps knowledge of SQL, Oracle DB, Postgres, ActiveMQ, Zabbix, Ambari, Hadoop, Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, ActiviBPM, Oracle SOA, Oracle BPM, Jenkins, Puppet, CI, AWS and other cloud technologiesIf you have the above skills, please submit your CV in the first instance.
