I'm looking for a 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer for an initial 12 week contract for my client based in South Lanarkshire. Although this role will be 90% remote ideally they are looking for somebody who could commute to South Lanarkshire for onboarding etc. Following on from this it will be remote. The 2 key things the client are looking for are:

Experience of working with multiple Hyper-v clusters with Linux workloads on, ideally some RedHat/Centos awareness Redirecting and Securing internet journey via cloud based Forcepoint proxy (for remote vpn'd users) Don't have to have Forcepoint experience, other vendor Internet proxy are okay. Desirable Skills: large Linux VM estate Regular OS Patching processes / tooling Highly segregated (via vlan) server estate Remote Workstation Estate Management of Patching / AV with associated reporting. Ideally SCCM / Microsoft Endpoint Manager cisco vpn / firewalling including remote user split tunnelling Potentially further on in time if still required in early 2021, O365 migration aspects, Teams, OneDrive / SharePoint exposure Day Rate - ~£340 Per Day
