Job Title: Project Engineer / EC&I Engineer Location: Hinkley Business Unit: Cavendish Nuclear REF: SF32229 About the role This Project Engineer / EC&I Engineer position would suit an individual motivated to succeed and comfortable working in a team environment.

As a Project Engineer / EC&I Engineer, you will be involved in working with a team of engineers and technicians in the completion of cradle to grave installations and modifications to plant and systems as part of a project investment delivery programme. A background in fault-finding / technical repair on electrical systems in regulated environments would be great!

This Project Engineer / EC&I Engineer will be fluent with stakeholder management, project planning, project supervising and project commissioning and will have familiarity with electrical drawings, electrical instrumentation (e.g. pressure transmitters, analogue / digital instruments, alarm instruments, basic electrical motor control etc)

What do I need to do the role? Such projects may include the following: * Investment planning and business justification for projects * Production of project programmes * Site surveying and scope identification * Requirements capture and optioneering * Ageing / obsolescence * Installation schedules * Generation of health, safety and quality documentation * Production of specifications (Functional & Technical) * Engineering of solutions to given problems * Creation of work packs including method statements & risk assessments * Maintaining safety all in works undertaken in line with regulatory and compliance policies. * Amendment of Engineering drawings * Fault finding, testing and commissioning of plant * Undertake and supervise electrical/C&I installations * Secondary roles within the team as required by the Engineer in Charge (eg. RoES, Radiological Protection Supervisor) * Identifying issues/improvements/recommendations to plant and equipment * Basic IT skills required (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook)

Experience/Qualifications/Skills * HNC in relevant discipline / Degree in relevant discipline beneficial * Demonstrative experience of previous work
