A Service Desk Analyst is required for our public sector client for an initial 6 - 9 month contract, based in Middlesbrough. Successful candidates will have strong customer service skills.

Our client is looking for a contract Service Desk Analyst to work within their Information Department. They are seeking enthusiastic, customer focused individuals with the appropriate IT technical knowledge to provide 1st line support.

The post holders will be located within the team responsible for providing the first line support for customer queries & orders received regarding Information & Technology into the Information Service Desk. You will be required to ensure accurate and timely recordings on the call logging system, assign calls to the appropriate teams and liaise with 2nd Line Teams to ensure calls are complete satisfactorily. You will also be required to:

* Provide 1st line support to customers for Software, Hardware & Telephony across the trust.

* Provide tracking of queries and activities through to resolution and provide feedback to users.

* Use excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage call resolution to a wide variety of personnel.

* Assist the Senior Service Desk Analysts in the handling of complex enquiries and the production of key supporting documentation as required.

Essential experience:

Experience of working on an IT helpdeskExcellent customer service skillsSome technical knowledge
